Powder – Floor (SA1)

Properties

Applications

  • Suitable for various water-absorbing pieces installed on concrete and cement surfaces in buildings, parking areas, public facilities, both indoors and outdoors.

Application Method

  • The substrate and the back of the piece must be completely dry, clean, level, and free from contamination. The surface must be free from grease, dust, and debris.
  • A notched trowel must be used to create grooves to achieve higher installation quality.
  • Each 20 kg bag should be mixed with approximately 5 kg of water. Pour the required amount of water into the mixing container, slowly add the powder, and mix for about 2 minutes (using an electric mixer is recommended). Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes for curing, then mix again for 30 seconds to obtain a uniform mixture. The mortar is now ready to apply with a notched trowel.
  • Each square meter requires approximately 5 kg of mortar (one bag covers around 4 m²). The mortar thickness behind the piece should be about 3–5 mm.
  • The working time depends on ambient temperature (approximately 30 minutes to 2 hours). Prepare small quantities and avoid use in extremely cold weather to prevent freezing.
  • Drying time is around 24 hours at 25°C, and joint-filling or further finishing can be done after 48 hours.
  • This product is intended for water-absorbing pieces.

Packaging

  • Supplied in 20 kg bags.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in dry, covered areas away from direct sunlight. A maximum of 5–6 bags may be stacked on top of each other.

Shelf Life

  • When stored properly, the product remains usable for up to 6 months after production.
